We are on the doorstep of Thanksgiving week – how is that possible! But before the Turkey comes the SALES!
I love a bargain and that is why I love love love Black Friday and Cyber Monday. What I don’t love is being bombarded with deals, deals, deals. It can turn in to a panicked nightmare trying to work out where to spend my hard earned money.
Advertisers used every trick in the book to get your attention and it can get overwhelming.
I developed this simple tracker to plan ahead before the crazy sales launch. I like this method because I can:
- Set myself a budget so I don’t go overboard and have regrets later
- Work out what I actually want to purchase, things I am getting low on or high ticket item like a vacuum cleaner or bedding, and
- To work out which store is going to give me the best savings.

What is the craziest thing you bought in the Black Friday / Cyber Monday sales? Mine was an ice-cream maker it was reduced from $90.00 to $35.00 what a bargain you say! Well, I used the damn thing twice and it used up so much space in my small pantry I came to resent it big time. It was cheaper and much less effort to just buy a tub from the market.
