Kitchen and Pantry Checklists
When we were packing up the kitchen from our last house – we could not believe how much stuff we had that we used once and shoved to the back of the cupboard (I’m looking at you space eating salad spinner!)
I used this Kitchen and Pantry Checklist to help us work out what we actually needed to make our kitchen functional. And to be honest it’s not a lot!
We stay away from gadgets like bread makers, Air Fryers etc. because we find we can do it all in an oven or stove top. In saying that – I do like a Rice Cooker – our Tiffany cooker has been with us for years.
Most of the recipes on our weekly rota are from Nagi’s- Recipe Tin Eats.
I love her recipes. They are easy to understand and she tends to use staple spices and herbs so we most nights we just buy a our meat and fresh veggies and the rest is in the pantry or fridge.
Also the equipment we use the most are a good knife, cutting board, fry pan with lid ( I like Scan Pan) a couple of oven trays and a pot that can go from stove top to oven.

If you are moving out for the first time or into a new home start – a wish list for your kitchen and pantry. If any one askes if you need anything – say YES! and pick something from your list.
Each time you use an item you will remember who gave it to you.
