New Home Checklist

The New Home Checklist took me forever to consolidate. When I started this list I stood in each room of our former home and had a good hard look at what we really needed to take with us in our new home.

Well that got overwhelming pretty quickly so I turned to the interwebs and made a practical list of what we needed for each room of our new home.

I stripped back to the basic essentials we needed to live well. I started with the Bathroom first, only 23 essentials items. Then onto the Toilet, only 7 items and so on for each room.

After making this checklist I realised how much ‘stuff’ we just hung onto even if we no longer had a use for them. We had at least 5 sets of single sheet sets even though we no longer had a single bed in the house. And don’t get me started on the number of backpacks we had!
